Orphans in Transylvania The childcare facility working in Kézdivásárhely provides help to underprivileged and mentally handicapped children left to Rumanian state custody by their parents. The help includes opportunities of education and the right to take part in community life. By setting up a photo workshop in this childcare center I could become more familiar with the everyday life, holidays and personal stories of the children. The portrait photographs of these severely handicapped children are visual prints of their human dignity.
